Requisition Summary
PACCAR is seeking a talented Summer Intern to join our Emission Compliance team.
This internship will assist in studying, analyzing, and documenting the MY 2024 vehicle and Engine readiness.
In this role, you will learn the upcoming emission regulations and their impact on PACCAR products.

The internship includes unique learning opportunities such as:

  • Work directly with Senior Managers and Controllers
  • Develop mentoring relationships with experienced accountants
  • Gain valuable hands-on experience

The internship is scheduled to begin in May or June 2023.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
  • Study and Analyze MY 2024 EPA and CARB Regulation
  • Review and develop a Certification process in line with EPA and CARB requirements.
  • Study the new naming structure, labeling, and serialization process.
  • Flexibility to address other assignments as needed

Qualifications / Skills
The skills that are important to be successful in this position are as follows:
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • PC skills (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)
  • High ethical standards, Self-starter.
  • Proven ability to work in a self-directed environment is preferred

Education
Master or bachelor's degree in Progress

Additional Job Board Information

The salary range for internship positions is $25 an hour for undergraduate students and $30 an hour for graduate students.
