Compensation: $ 20 - 35/ hr.

Shift Differential: We offer a $3.00 /hr shift differential to all hourly associates who work within a specific timeframe:
Schedule: Full-time opportunity, Overnight / 3rd shift. We utilize a rotating 3 x 12 hour schedule.
Position Overview:
As an Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary Technician, you will be an integral part of our emergency care team, working in a fast-paced environment where every second counts. You will be responsible for providing immediate medical attention to critically ill or injured animals, administering life-saving treatments, and assisting our veterinarians during emergency procedures. Your expertise and quick thinking will make a significant difference in the lives of pets and their owners.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide urgent medical care and treatment to animals in critical condition
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform diagnostic tests as necessary
- Assist veterinarians during emergency surgeries and procedures
- Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing updates on their pet's condition and offering emotional support
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure seamless and efficient patient care
- Educate pet owners on post-treatment care and follow-up appointments
Qualifications:
- Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in emergency or critical care veterinary medicine
- Strong knowledge of veterinary medical practices, procedures, and terminology
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners
