Experience in emergency planning and operations for health and medical services, public health and environmental operations, and multiagency leadership and coordination at the state level.
Plans experience, and versed in FEMA Comprehensive Preparedness Guide (CPG) 101
Ability to evaluate drills to identify needed improvements.
Able to work well with others to include executive level persons internal and external to DHEC.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred, and the ability to work effectively and efficiently under limited supervision.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff.DRIVING RECORD: If this position requires the applicant to possess a valid driver's license to operate a state vehicle or personal vehicle, any applicant being considered in the final stages of selection for the position will be required to provide a certified copy of a 10-year driving record.
