Overview:
The ER Technician assists with providing patient care in a designated area under the supervision of a nurse. Assures that the Mercy Mission, Mercy Values, Service Standards, confidentiality, policies and procedures of the department and Health Center are followed. This responsibility includes the appropriate utilization of the Health Center's resources to optimize patient care.

The ER Technician assists with providing patient care in a designated area under the supervision of a nurse. Qualifications:
- Education: Eligible to enter or has completed senior year in an accredited RN program, or able to demonstrate clinical proficiency as required in ER Tech job description.
- Will consider relative experience in ER / ICU tech of a minimum of 3 years High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Licensure: CPR Certification required within three months of employment
- Other: Ability to read, write and speak English
- Preferred Certifications: BCLS is preferred.
