Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the direction of the Ethics & Compliance Officer, directs, manages and coordinates all aspects of Safety and Emergency Preparedness functions. Accountable for helping to provide a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors and employees. Responsible for all aspects of Safety and Emergency Preparedness functions. Ensures that the hospital is in compliance with governmental and state regulations. Chairs the hospital EOC Committee. Assumes responsibility for major defined projects as related to safety undertaken by the Hospital. Assists in the planning, direction and supervision of all administrative and technical aspects of the Safety and Security programs related to the provision of a safe and secure environment.


What qualifications you will need:
  • Bachelors Degree required. Masters Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 years of safety/risk experience in a healthcare setting
  • Certification in Healthcare Safety preferred
