Form of workFairview Health Services is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join the Emergency Medicine Department at M Health Fairview Lakes Medical Center. Fairview Lakes Medical Center in Wyoming, MN provides award-winning care to the communities northeast of the Twin Cities. We are a Level IV trauma center, providing life-saving treatment to the seriously ill and injured 24 hours a day. Specialty services are available on-site in heart care, cancer care, childbirth, orthopedics, pediatrics and more.
Practice Details:
- Join a team of 13 Physicians and 6 APRNs/PAs
- FTE: 1.0
- Fairview Lakes Medical Center is a 65 licensed bed facility and 24 bed ED
- Level IV Trauma Center
- Department sees an average of 75 patients per day
- Annual Emergency Department volumes: 28,000
- Approximately 15% of the Emergency Department visits are pediatrics
- Physician shift times are 8-10 hours during the week and 10-12 hours on weekends. APRNs/PAs Coverage 10:00am-6:00pm, M-F
- Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC)

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited ACGME Emergency Medicine training program
- BC/BE with American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association
- Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure
- Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota
- Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges
