Emergency Medical Technician (Emt)

Pistoresi Ambulance, a renowned and dedicated provider of Emergency Medical services for over 80 years, is seeking a part-time Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality patient care and Emergency Medical services in a variety of situations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely respond to emergency calls, providing medical support and assistance.

- Perform basic life support and emergency care, including CPR and first aid.

- Safely transport patients to higher level of care medical facilities.

- Operate and maintain emergency vehicles and equipment.

- Document and report patient information accurately.

- Work closely with other healthcare professionals, Police/Fire to ensure effective patient care.

Qualifications:

- Current EMT certification.

- Ability to perform life support, patient care, and other medical emergency procedures.

- Knowledge of advanced life support is a plus.

- Excellent Communication Skills: Articulate in both verbal and written communication, able to effectively convey information and calmly explain procedures to patients and their families.

- Physical ability to perform the duties of an EMT, including lifting and moving patients.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 60 per week
