Emergency Medical Technician (Emt)

 

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a civilian EMT-B at Holloman AFB in Holloman, New Mexico.

 

• Full-Time and PRN opportunities available

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Provide the patient with the necessary and appropriate medical care, consistent with ambulance equipment
  and supplies, and personnel certification, training, and experience during transport.
• Conduct routine restocking, cleaning, and disinfection of the vehicle, equipment, and supplies.
• Document all treatment provided to the patient during the patient transport.
• Rapidly stabilize the patient, according to Advance Life Support (ALS) protocol and EMS written
  protocols.
• Lift, place, and deliver patients to the receiving destinations for medical care. Place patients on monitors,
  administer needles, IVs, oxygen, or dressings. 
• Capable and ready to drive an ambulance 

 

Job Requirements:

 

• EMT-B certification required
• Valid and current Emergency Vehicle Operator Course Certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• A valid New Mexico Driver's License
• Minimum of one year of experience as an EMT-B after graduation
