Emergency Department Registered Nurse

We are looking for Registered Nurses to join our Emergency Department. Cheshire Medical Center's small but mighty Emergency Department features many of the perks of a larger regional hospital, but serves the local community with compassionate and quality care. The facility includes 21 beds, a private OB specialty room, two trauma/resuscitation bays, and the use of telemedicine to consult with other specialists in neurology and emergency medicine.

Responsibilities:

• Triage patients and provide direct patient care.
• Gather and interpret data through history taking and physical assessments and plan interventions to meet patients’ needs.
• Document care provided and the patient’s progress toward desired outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about the plan of care and how to manage their care after discharge.
• Administer medications to patients as directed.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred.
• Current NH RN License.

Schedule:

• Part-time or full-time, 24-36 hours per week
• Shift: Nights
