SalaryThis is a 1099 position, fully remote. Looking for an independent contractor for up to 25 hours a week, flat pay rate based on tier system, no salary or benefits. If this resonates with what you are looking for, please read below:
You are a limited or fully licensed social worker (LLMSW, LMSW), professional counselor (LPC), LMFT, LLC, PLLC licensed in the state of Michigan who is ready to leap into the Private Practice world. You are very independent, feel confident in your clinical skills working with clients, and need little supervision. You have had jobs in the past working as a therapist. You know exactly how to build quality rapport with clients, you are great at retaining clients and know the modalities your clients need to heal. You are here to guide your clients to find their answers since you know they are the experts on themselves. You are either trained in EMDR, or want to be trained in EMDR in the next few months. You are ready to invest in a training if you are not trained. If you are limited license, you have an outside supervisor. You hate change, so you are looking for a new workplace to call home, work virtually (have a great computer to work off on and good wifi), and a place you want to stay for many years with a boss that is relaxed & values you.
You want to work in Private Practice, but you do not want to take on all the administration responsibilities. The good news is you do not have to and we can take care of all that for you, while you can just play your role of being the therapist you went to school for. You are excited to use your clinical skills while helping clients transform their lives. You want to work 25 hours a week, you want to make your own schedule, and you are okay working at least 2 nights a week to see some evening clients. We can help you obtain new clients, credential you with insurance, provide some professional development; but you are willing to do this on your own as well, and support you in your work.
Niyama Center offers a holistic approach to healing. We mostly specialize in working with both women and men with anxiety, depression, trauma, bpd, and grief. We utilize therapies such as Mindfulness, EMDR, DBT, EFT and CBT. Our ideal practitioner is trained in more than just CBT and has a wide range of modalities they utilize when helping their clients heal such as EMDR and DBT.
