Form of workWHAT YOU WILL DO* Review returned warranty parts, categorize issues, perform data entry, breakdown data, & perform data analysis.* Perform testing and analysis on various electronic components to determine failure mode and root cause analysis.* Summarize and communicate weekly results to quality and warranty team for further action.* Assist in developing test procedures and testing methodologies.* Participate in and contribute to software issue tracking and change review* Communicate and collaborate with design engineering, service, quality engineering & manufacturing to resolve issues.* Support Value Engineering activities* Complete a relevant project within the coop time frame* Maintain positive and effective working relationships with all team membersWHO YOU ARE* Must meet the Coats Internship Program Application requirements* Pursuing BS Degree in Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering required* Rising Junior or Senior preferred* Experience with Microsoft Excel & spreadsheets required* Ability to work with limited direction and supervision* Solid communication skills and ability to work in a team environment* Must be hands onThe COATS Company is a leading, global manufacturer of wheel service, alignment, and inspection equipment.
