Gibson operates via a central headquarters based in Nashville, TN, supporting five manufacturing facilities as well as four regionally-based support centres that enable the sales, marketing, and distribution activities in each of four different worldwide regions.

 

OVERALL JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for a talented Email Marketing Specialist to take the lead on our Email Marketing strategy and operations for the Gibson Brands portfolio. The core duties include running Email Marketing campaigns end-to-end, managing email databases and customer cohorts, creating newsletters for Gibson, Epiphone, Kramer and KRK Systems. Candidates must have a successful track record utilizing technology to achieve scale, cultivating data to make decisions and drive engagement, monetization, and retention while delighting customers via personalization, recommendations, and information about new products and services. This role has a lot of autonomy and will require a self-starter with clear understanding of implementing advanced email campaigns and a strong bias for action.

 

 

Skills & Knowledge

  • Work with leadership team to develop email strategy and roadmap
  • Design and implement direct Email Marketing campaigns
  • Develop content as needed with high bar for digital/mobile presentation
  • Enforce standards for content clarity, grammar, spelling, and functionality
  • Upgrade our email templates using graphics, personalization, and advanced features
  • Ensure prompt and accurate communication to minimize unsubscribes
  • Cultivate email databases for lead generation
  • Wire emails for tracking for full funnel analysis and measurement against goals and KPIs
  • Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements
  • Report on sales revenue generated from Email Marketing efforts
  • Conduct multivariate testing to improve email CX over time
  • Implement advanced campaigns like DRIP, abandonment, etc.
  • Ensure emails follow industry policies and best practices

 

Required Experience

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or relevant work experience
  • 3+ years of experience managing large scale email or digital marketing campaigns
  • Experience with Marketo, Hubspot, or similar marketing automation tools is highly desired
  • Email template development and SQL skills will separate you from the crowd
  • Hands on experience with HTML, CSS, email and content management systems
  • Experience using Google Analytics or related BI tools
  • Familiarity with analytical and database tools
  • Excellent written communication and copywriting skills
  • Strong project management skills

Travel
Occasional travel may be required (approximately 5%).
