Duties
- Conduct eligibility assessments and determine program eligibility for individuals seeking assistance.
- Collect and verify required documentation from applicants.
- Assist individuals in completing application forms accurately and thoroughly.
- Provide information and guidance to applicants regarding program requirements and available resources.
- Conduct interviews with applicants to gather necessary information for eligibility determination; performs complex math calculations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions and eligibility determinations.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of social work principles and practices.
- Experience in conducting motivational interviewing techniques.
- Knowledge of Section 8 housing assistance programs is a plus.
- Ability to handle crisis situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $18.47 - $25.85 per hour
