SalaryWe are currently seeking Teacher Assistants for grades K through 4th.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:
Preference will be given to those with demonstrated experience and success working with small groups and collaborating with classroom teachers. Title 1 school experience is highly valued. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Our Model:
- BA will have grades K – 6 in 2022-23 and will add a grade each subsequent year until we are K – 12.
- We have two classes per grade level, with a goal of 20 scholars per class.
- Our year-round academic calendar includes frequent professional development, including Responsive Classroom training each summer, and curriculum-specific training (Eureka Math, Wit and Wisdom ELA) throughout the year.

- Assist the lead teacher in the delivery of engaging, differentiated, appropriately paced, and rigorous instruction in whole-class, small group, and individual settings.
- Uphold school-wide and class policies, rules and consequences at all times.
- Help the lead teacher identify unique student needs and collaborate with other team members and outside service providers to diagnose and address learning challenges.
- Participate in all grade-level and school-wide professional development opportunities.
- Use feedback to make productive changes in performance.
- Participate in school activities and school-related community events throughout year.
Compensation and Hiring:
