Qualifications 4-year degree in Education or related field Kentucky teacher certification preferred Teaching experience a plus Responsibilities: Create lesson plans, and appropriate instructional resources. Design, prepare, and use activities and projects to support class lectures Deliver instructional lessons aligned with adopted standards (Core Content, NGSS, etc.) Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities Utilize a variety of curriculum resources, incentives, redirects, to maintain student engagement Meet course and school-wide student performance goals Participate in school-wide PD, individual PD suggested by administration, or self-requested PD Reflect and modify instruction in accordance with classroom and standardized data Develop professional relationships with other agencies and programs Work with academic director/lead teacher to ensure initiatives are being met Observe and evaluate students’ performance Personal Attributes: Highly organized and punctual Manifest positive relationships with parents, students, and staff members.
