? Deliver high quality instruction across grade-levels in 1:1 and/or small group settings in both push-in (inclusion) and pull-out models to identified children.
? Handle a caseload of Special Education students including development and progress monitoring of IEPs, communicating with parents and related service providers, collaborating with general Education Teachers to accommodate students, scheduling IEP meetings, etc.
? Monitor the evaluation process, providing relevant input and data, communicating with parents and psychologist, and creating new IEPs.
? Plan for and deliver instruction in a small-group/pull-out setting to students requiring modified curriculum.
? Collaborate with general Education Teachers around strategies and interventions to use with identified and unidentified struggling learners.
? Collaborate with members of the Enrichment Team and seek out innovative strategies to problem-solve issues as they arise.
? Implement MTSS plans and lead the instruction of and monitor the progress of students identified as requiring intervention. ? Be accountable for students' academic growth and achievement.
? Contribute to a positive, achievement-oriented learning environment.
? Reflect on successes and areas of growth as a teacher, seek to improve performance, and respond to feedback.
? Participate in collaborative curriculum development, grade-level activities, and school-wide functions.
? Communicate regularly with parents regarding their children's academic success.
? Perform other related duties as assigned.
