Doctor's Data, Inc. is looking for a quality conscious individual to fill an entry level position in our clinical laboratory as an Elemental AnalysisSample Prep Technicianin our Elements Department.

Job Requirements:

• Required: Associate’s degree in a clinical, laboratory, chemical, physical, or biological science
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a laboratory science (chemistry, biochemistry, biology) or degree in medical technology from an accredited institution
• Must be comfortable in handling human specimens and have a high regard for safety and good laboratory practices.
• Adhere to written standard operating procedures and quality control policies
• Ability to read and comprehend science documents
• Ability to pipette with accuracy and experience with conducting basic laboratory procedures
• Ability to complete assignments and multitask with a high degree of accuracy
• Strong communication skills in written and oral form
• Ability to perform scientific math equations including the following: ratios, percentages, dilutions and conversions
• Familiarization with Microsoft Office, and basic computer skills
• Communicate production issues in a timely manner to the department manager
• Must be able to meet attendance requirements and have flexibility in scheduling
• Display flexibility and a professional demeanor while working in a demanding work environment
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Ability to work the shift of M- F 12PM - 8:30PM, training for this role will take place during regular shift hours
