Job description

The primary role of the Electrical Tester is to set up, operate and maintain a variety of test equipment to perform electrical, electronic and mechanical tests on a variety of control equipment. Component testing including but not limited to partial discharge testing of power electronic devices, firmware flashing, and application loading of printed circuit boards and controllers. Helping in the design and maintenance of test equipment. Schedule is Monday through Thursday with overtime required as needed on Fridays. ...


Responsibilities:
Analyze data to determine compliance with test standards and record data and write reports; process paperwork timely, accurately, and with accountability and follow procedures with accuracy, efficiently and with strict attention to details
Troubleshoot various problems that could occur during course of test; requires Tester to think critically to solve complex problems
Use multimeters, voltmeters, hipot test equipment, digital oscilloscope, PC based monitoring, stand-alone RTD temperature monitoring system, and Variac?s
Develop rapport and establish relationships with customers, engineers, and manufacturing team
Responsible for assisting with product qualifying testing for 3rd party standards committees and continuously improve work environment processes
Troubleshoot and repair customer returned material
Working hours: 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM
Skills:
Experience with multimeters, voltmeters, hipot test equipment, digital oscilloscope, PC based monitoring, stand-alone RTD temperature monitoring system, and Variac's
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely

Associate
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Associates Degree from an accredited institution in an Electrical or Electronic Engineering field or equivalent (2 year) military experience
Commitment to following safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
Ability to interpret test results accurately and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently.
Proficiency in electrical testing procedures, including knowledge of relevant tools and equipment
Ability to read, write, and understand English
