Job Description
- Work with the Engineering team lead and CTO to determine the Electronics specifications and requirements.
- Design and develop analogue and digital circuits and power supplies.
- Perform circuit level and system level simulations and analysis to minimize design risk and prove theoretical system performance.
- Conduct board level and system level testing, debugging, optimization.
- Document and conduct thorough peer reviews, block diagrams, specifications etc.
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in electronics/electrical engineering or equivalent.
- Strong analog and digital design skills, including thermal, EMC and safety considerations.
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience taking ownership of complex projects and producing successful outcomes.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills, with strong time management and organization skills.
- Naturally team oriented and creative, with a mission-first attitude.
- You must be a authorized to work in the US to be considered
- Photonics, electro-optics, transimpedance amplifiers, sensors and systems.
- Strong analog design skills including active and passive filtering, board level power supplies, low noise design techniques.
- EMC, design for MIL-STD 461, MIL-1275, shock/vibration/temperature extremes for harsh environments.
- MATHCAD/Comsol or equivalent modelling/analysis tools.
- Embedded software engineering and/or VHDL/FPGA design.
Experience:
- Schematic capture: 5 years (Required)
- Altium: 2 years (Required)
- Electronics design: 5 years (Required)
