We have opportunities for an Electronics Bench Technician in our Atlanta, Georgia facility.
The Electronics Bench Technician will produce reliable, quality, airworthy product at a reasonable cost and optimum turn time while providing the highest quality of workmanship for all work accomplished.
Essential Duties:
- Set up and operate electronics test equipment for troubleshooting, calibrating, and testing avionic articles
- Troubleshoot circuitry and circuit boards to a component level
- Repair circuit boards, replace individual components
- Test, Repair, and Overhaul various electronics articles
Ideal candidates offer:
- Ability to read and comprehend simple to complex schematics
- Ability to troubleshoot electronics to a component level
- Considerable knowledge regarding basic to complex electronic theory
- Considerable knowledge and experience regarding soldering surface mount components
- Considerable knowledge and experience regarding the use of oscilloscopes, digital volt meters, and RF generators
- Ability to understand verbal and written instructions in English
- Ability to read and comprehend work instructions, Component Maintenance Manuals, and Technical Publications
- Physical requirement: primarily seated, visual acuity to inspect small components and detailed repairs, manual dexterity to work with and on small tools and component parts
