Electronic Payment Analyst

Starting pay at $70,000.00 annually DOE + bonus

Come help create the coolest convenience store experience on the planet with Maverik! Maverik is growing and we are adding an Electronic Payment Analyst to our incredible accounting team. Do you enjoy creating queries in SQL? Do you have experience with PDI? What about any BI visualization tools experience? If you said "yes" to any or all, we're looking for you!

What You'll Do:

• Build and maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of the Electronic Payments ecosystem at Maverik
• Perform exploratory analysis on transactional data with an eye toward cost reduction/revenue generation
• Build and maintain reports, visualizations, and dashboards related to Electronic Payments - including reconciliation, settlement, fee structures, etc.
• Assist in building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (vendors, card networks, consultants, and other Maverik departments)
• Comply with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) requirements and maintain card data security

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required
• Master’s degree in business administration or business analytics preferred
• 2-3 years’ experience writing queries in SQL
• 2-3 years’ experience building dashboards using Looker or similar business intelligence/visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Domo, Adobe Analytics…)
• Experience working with very large datasets in a business setting, performing exploratory data analysis, and producing actionable insights
• Proficient in MS Office applications, very strong Excel skills required
• Experience with R or Python preferred
