Job Description
Wyandot Behavioral Health Network is seeking an Electronic Health Records specialist to join our team. The purpose of the EHR Specialist I position is to provide support for all staff members in using the EHR. The EHR Specialist I is responsible for review/analysis of EHR data, assisting in department functions, assisting in data reporting, training new staff in the EHR, and other administrative functions as needed. This position reports directly to the Director of Data Management.

Accountabilities:
- Part of the team that provides EHR trainings for all staff members. Training could consist of 1-4 days a week at various times to accommodate schedules.
- Creates and maintains staff records in EHR.
- Produces training materials for staff.
- Performs data entry as needed and validates data with staff.
- Assists in department functions to maximize Wyandot staff’s level of clinical care.
- Effectively works with providers and internal staff to resolve issues.
- Produces ongoing data reporting according to department needs.
- Lead project management activities as assigned.
- Ensures needed data is collected on a timely basis, regular reports on progress are distributed, and makes recommendations for future improvements based on the data.
- Will achieve EHR Admin Certification from EHR Vendor within 3 months of starting.
- Communicates regularly and timely with supervisor on the status of projects and trainings.
