Position Function
Supervise, schedule, and coordinate the activities of Electronic Mechanics ; supervise the activities of Key Control; prepare cost estimates and material requisitions; inspect work for projects and renovations; manage all elevator and lift maintenance; coordinate with users and/or departments to determine project requirements; monitor work order completion; plan, develop, write, and implement various preventative maintenance programs; prepare reports, setting forth analyses, progress, adverse trends, and appropriate recommendations and/or conclusions regarding maintenance and construction projects.
Minimum Education
Associate's degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Minimum Experience
Over five years of experience in an appropriate trade and at least three years of supervisory experience; must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable under the university's auto fleet policy.
Minimum Other
Personal computer and software proficiency.
Authorization to work in the US
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Education
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Preferred Experience
Completion of an apprenticeship program; proficiency in at least one craft area or discipline; over three years supervisory experience.
