Electronic Assembly Operator - 2nd Shift

Our client in Southeast Austin is looking to add an Electronic Assembler to join their production team! In this role, you will have ample opportunities for growth as you rotate around different departments and learn new skill sets. This position is M-F 3:00pm - 11:00 pm offering $19.80/hr with overtime opportunities, starting as a Temp to Hire role. Their end goal is to have full-time perm employees on their payroll.
Electronic Assembler Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and products using a variety of hand tools
• Perform test and verification of electronic assemblies in a technical, computer-based environment and ensure quality of final product
• Move between different production areas to learn new processes and help out in other areas when necessary.
• Communicate with team lead on work progress, issues and idea
• Work in a team environment to implement improvement ideas
• Input inventory and production transaction into the ERP system and other programs
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by adhering to established policies and procedures

Electronic Assembler Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 2+ years of Electronic Assembly experience is a STRONG PLUS
• 2+ years working in a manufacturing and/or production environment is a STRONG PLUS
• Clean room/semiconductor experience is a PLUS
