Performs all duties of a Senior EEG technician and routine evoked potential testing (SEP, VEP, BAEP) also, neurophysiological monitoring in the operating room, including EP, EMG, NCV, facial nerve monitoring, electrocardiography, and more.

Long term monitoring for epilepsy unit and ICU patients, using video-EEG and specialized sensors (needle and /or collodion electrodes, vital sign monitors, surface, sphenoidal, or intracranial electrodes); able to prepare patients for long-term ambulatory outpatient "Digitrace" monitoring, and record post-operative electrocardiography during language testing or motor mapping procedures; able to use specialized software tools to detect seizures or other changes in patient status.
Education, Training & Experience
High School Graduate or Equivalent
Completion of a technical (EEG) training program and/ or 3 years of relevant experience in a medical setting, or an equivalent combination of both training and experience required
Active and current certification for EEG or evoked potentials (R.EEG T., R.EP T., or C.N.I.M. T.) preferred.
