Job Description
Adjuvo Technologies is looking for an Electro-Mechanical Assembly and Test Technician that is eager to become part of a growing business in the training and simulation industry. This position offers diverse tasking including troubleshooting, electrical assembly, wiring, soldering, SMT soldering, light mechanical assembly, and integration. Adjuvo designs and fabricates high fidelity, high reliability training assets for the Department of Defense and related contractors. Located in Oviedo, FL.
Requirements: Broad, general understanding of electronic components, SMT soldering, crimping, cable fabrication and mechanical assembly. Ability to troubleshoot wiring and PCB boards and load/manage software onto PCB's. Electrical work must comply with IPC-A-610, CL3 and IPC-A-620, CL3 standards. Ability to read and understand drawings and schematics.
Typical job duties include:
· Final product testing, calibration and validation
· Trouble shooting, final integration and Test of product and subassemblies
· Population and soldering of components onto PCB (SMT/Thru-hole)
· Custom cable building/wiring,
· Assembly of mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies
· Final integration and system/sub-system test
· Assist other technicians with assemblies/tasks
Candidate must have necessary agility to install cable assemblies inside of electronics cabinets. Use of basic shop equipment, such as powered hand tools, drill press and arbor press will be required. Candidate must be able to handle 25 lbs regularly throughout the day. Ability to read drawings and schematics is required. Preferred candidate will have IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620 and/or J-STD-001 certifications.
