Electrician / Maintenance Tech

Responsibilities

REAL ALLOY is looking for an experienced multi-craft electrician to join our team in Chicago Heights!  Industrial maintenance background preferred, with general mechanical aptitude helpful.

 

Pay range $35.53 to $39.71/hour, depending on qualifications and experience; with premium swing shift available. 

 

We are currently offering a Retention Bonus and Monthly Incentive Bonus:

 

RETENTION/REFERRAL BONUS: 

 

3 months                     $250

6 months                     $500

9 months                     $750

1 year                          $1000

 

MONTHLY INCENTIVE BONUS: earn up to $500.00

• Install & repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings
• Installs conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables
• Ensures piping complies with electrical codes; replaces conduit, wiring, and circuit breakers as needed 
• Troubleshooting equipment problems and making necessary repairs to restore equipment to proper operating conditions
• Perform installation or repair work on motors, wiring and control cabinets, along with mobile equipment such as forklifts, pay loaders, and skid steer loaders

 

Mechanical abilities, mobile equipment repair, welding, and general maintenance knowledge a bonus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years work experience in trade profession or industrial maintenance.
• Able to demonstrate strong proficiency in troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
• Valid electricians license preferred but not required.
• Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.
