Electrician Apprentice

As an Electrician Apprentice, you will work closely with our Journeyman and project teams to contribute to successful electrical installations.

Responsibilities

• Assist journeyman with installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems such as lighting, wiring, and fixtures
• Assist in measuring, cutting, bending or threading conduits, raceways and/or wiring
• Troubleshoot electrical AC and DC circuits and apply basic mechanical principles to identify or resolve issues under the supervision of a journeyman
• Properly use craft tools and equipment
• Clean, stage and/or unload construction materials in storage bins
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations when working with electrical systems
• Communicate effectively with team members and demonstrate professionalism when interacting with customers, vendors and colleagues
• Additional duties will be assigned as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent
• State apprentice license is desired with a minimum of two year's commercial electrical experience
• Ability to work at heights or/and in confined spaces
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Must be available to work third shifts
• Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is a service company providing customer service throughout California and other states. Travel may be required.
