Gutridge is a leading construction and service company offering Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Protection and Electrical services to customers in the greater central Ohio marketplace. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical set ups.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Plan and layout work for themselves and craft workers working in their area.
- Install and terminate electrical wiring, fixtures, devices, and other materials.
- Terminate and set switchgear, panels, and other distribution equipment.
- Measure, cut and bend conduit using hand and hydraulic benders.
- Layout and install wiring circuits.
- Use power tools for drilling and cutting.
- Pull/push wire through raceways, cable trays and other approved methods.
- Trace out short circuits in wiring and troubleshoot other electrical issues.
- Perform electrical repairs, such as replacing fuses, light sockets, bulbs, and switches.
- Perform work in accordance with the National Electric Code (NEC).
- Uses resources wisely.
- Maintain company tools, equipment, supplies and materials in an orderly fashion.
- Identify and implement pre-fab opportunities on job.
- Demonstrates the ability to adapt to changing priorities, including performing other duties for supervisor.
- Set daily goals and review them with supervisor and crew members daily.
- Use of hand tools.
- Ability to read meters.
- Provide own hand tools and some power tools (full required list outlined in employee handbook).
- Follows safe work practices and policies
- Read and understand construction drawings and specifications

- Maintain OSHA 10 hour course

- Ability to speak Spanish is a plus!

- $250 for Entry Level / all other not in any of the below categories
- $500 for an Apprentice currently enrolled or going to be enrolled in the next 3 months in an accredited program
- $1,500 for a seasoned Journeyman - minimum 4 years experience
- $2,500 Foreman / Superintendent - ability to lead and run a crew
