This is an entry level role where the Electrical Trainee assists Journeymen in the layout, assembly, and installation of accessories and equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Sort out material, load, transport, unload and furnish experienced trade workers with materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Clean work area and restock supplies and materials as necessary.
- Assist in lifting, positioning and securing of materials and work pieces during installation.
- Perform minor maintenance or cleaning of journeyman’s tools and equipment when necessary.
- Perform other routine duties as directed by experienced tradesperson.
Minimum Requirements:
- Technical Trade School completion highly preferred.
- GED or High School graduate required.
- Must be able to follow specific directions and perform a variety of duties which may often change.
- Must be able to evaluate information using measurable standards.
- Must be able to work within standards.
- Must be willing to repeat tasks of short duration according to a set procedure.
- Understand English and follow directives.

Must use hands, fingers, arms and legs fully; kneel, crouch and crawl; climb and balance on ladders and scaffolds; climb stairs, reach overhead, push, pull, lift and stoop.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
