The Electrical Tester is a hands-on position, performing required product testing for cables. The Electrical Tester works closely with the Quality and Production teams to identify and resolve problems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform electricaltesting on cables for VSWR, Insertion Loss, Phase, Time Delay and Capacitance
- Perform standard Network Analyzer Calibration, when required
- Perform In-Process and Final Testing
- Trouble-shoot production hardware electrical problems
- Create Test Data sheets
- Manage and report Test Data
- Helpassemble harnesses, when required,to support production
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in wire/cable harness manufacturing
- Experience in electro-mechanical testing and manufacturing, preferred.
- Familiarity with network analyzers, strongly preferred.
- Be able to lift 15 pounds
- Be on your feet for much of your standard operating shift
- Strong computer skills
- Strong attention to details
- Excellent math skills
