Electrical Systems Technician Nights

The Electrical Systems Technician Nights is responsible for installing, maintaining (preventative maintenance), troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing and non-manufacturing electrical equipment, also responsible for repairing, maintaining and improving the process areas, production equipment and Electrical systems to ensure proper operation.
Shift is Wednesday-Friday and every other Saturday; 6pm- 6am.
Key responsibilities:

• Ability to understand National Electrical Code and implement the rules in your repair and installation of Electrical Systems and equipment. Also, should be able to review work of others against NEC.
• Completes routine request work orders and Preventative Maintenance (PM) work orders• Ability to be a project manager on small projects. Estimate and manage labor and material
• Helps scope plant improvement projects including electrical distribution, control sytems, security, fire alarm, and HVAC
• Installation and repair of lighting, HVAC, single and 3 phase motors, VFD's, instrumentation, valve actuation, fire alarm, and security
• Ability to design and install a control circuit for various uses.
• Preventative Maintenance of all Electrical Systems including fire, security, power management, and power distribution.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Key requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Some College or Trade School experience strongly preferred.
• Preferred area of study: Electrical Engineering; Electrical Trade School
• Minimum of 5 - 7 years' experience
• Licensed Electrician required
• Knowledge of electrical circuits and their maintenance and construction; is current on all electrical codes that apply to our site.
• Skilled in Electrical Systems maintenance and repair, extensive experience in lock out/tag out procedures. Project management skills.
• Team player with exceptional customer service skills, integrity and ability to interact with all levels of personnel. Requires strong attention to detail and analytical skills as well as problem analysis and resolution. The employee is living the cultural beliefs with the flexibility to adapt to changing business priorities. Is open to and actively seeks out feedback on their performance and translates that feedback into action.
