Electrical Software Liaison!
We are currently looking for candidates who want to make a difference and who wish to be part of our dynamic organization in the US.
This company seeks an Electrical Engineer to utilize specialized knowledge of packaging machinery including conveyors, labelers, and inspection equipment to understand the electrical design, PLC, and HMI programming as well as start-up and troubleshooting of the new machines. The position is part of the digital Community, working as part of a Company CDA development team and supporting our teams with onsite rollout of newest features and bringing the Feedback from our customer / service technicians directly to the developers. This position is the first contact in the event of problems and errors to clarify the cause / collect information and solve the issues either on their own or work directly with the developers of the Company. Work with the digital Community to resolve the issue. The main focus is to find solutions for software problems on machines, that can include problems at the customer's site. This position is based out of Milwaukee, WI.
What Will You Be Doing?

• Coordinate pilot customer projects.
• Install and roll out new developments at pilot customer sites.
• Test, troubleshoot and gather customer feedback on new developments.
• In the event of software problems, finding the cause and fixing the problem together with the development teams.
• Prioritize and manage software bugs in Azure DevOps.
• Train new Features to customers and Company.
• Structure and prepare analytics data (dumps, logs, etc.).
• Share information and knowledge with colleagues (Training).
• Provide engineering level support for automation issues in region (max 20%).

What Will You Need to Be Successful?
Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent, in Electrical Engineering or a related field, and 10-20 years of experience as a Controls Engineer or Field Service electrician in the packaging industry. In addition, the following specific skills are required:

• Good knowledge of programming languages (C#, WPF, .net).
• Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python).
• Knowledge of “bus technology”, communication technology, OPC UA is desirable!
• Knowledge of the network technology/network structure.
• Experience in continuous integration/continuous delivery/continuous deployment with Microsoft Azure DevOps and Jira.
• High analytical skills and results oriented.
• Self-motivated and self-managed.
• Ability to travel 30% of the time (domestic and foreign).

Experience with one or more of the following automation technologies:

• Siemens TIA
• B&R Automation
• cHMI
• Network Configuration

This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience as an Electrical Software Engineer.
Salary is between $115,000 to $130,000 per year.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
