Electrical Senior Level Estimator

Looking for an experienced, knowledgeable, self-directed Mid-Level Estimator to assist our Senior Estimator. We are looking for a Mid-Level Estimator who can build strong relationships with current and new customer base.  Must have a background in Construction and the Electrical field. Applicants must possess experience in understanding blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time/cost/labor estimates for projects and services. Must have the ability to network effectively and professionally with customers, vendors, suppliers and company team members.  Looking to promote Mid-Level Estimator to Senior Estimator position in three (3) years. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

·       Experience with, and knowledge of the Electrical Industry.

·       Computer skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite and Accubid Estimating Programs are a must.

·       Ability to perform multiple tasks under demanding deadlines.

·       Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize responsibilities and duties.

·       Excellent written and oral communication skills.

·       A Self-Starting, problem solving mentality with professional conduct and a team attitude.

·       Experience estimating electrical construction projects for an electrical contractor.

·       Skilled in prioritizing, organization and time management.

·       Must have a sense of urgency and be detail-oriented.

·       Familiarity in both Public and Private Markets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Effectively execute the following duties and responsibilities. Other Duties may be assigned.

·       Analyze and interpret bid documents.

·       Review contract documents and plans and submit RFIs for clarification.

·       Attend pre-construction walkthroughs and pre-bid meetings and job meetings as required.

·       Submit requests for quote with all MTOs to designated suppliers per bid requirements.

·       Upon award generate submittal packages.
