Ndustrial is seeking a talented engineer with an electrical and/or mechanical engineering background to scope projects and design and implement our energy management system, Nsight. In addition to supporting the initial phase of Nsight deployment you will be working with our industrial clients on various energy management activities and solution design for other offerings provided by Ndustrial. A successful candidate will have a deep understanding of industrial systems, energy management and have experience as a customer facing subject matter expert. As part of the Energy and IoT Solutions team will be working with our sales team, and prospective customers to develop customized energy and carbon management solutions. You will also be working with our implementations team to provide turnkey metering and energy focused industrial IoT solutions.

• Determine customer needs and create scopes for energy and process monitoring solutions
• Specify electric, gas, steam, air flow and other metering solutions
• Identify Significant Energy Using systems and process and develop strategies to monitor utility inputs
• Create design documents to facilitate permitting and installation of meters and sensors
• Interact with installing contractors to answer RFIs and provide field engineering when necessary
• Management responsibilities and future potential to grow energy solutions team
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and apply new system processes
• Perform quality and performance analysis on new and legacy IT systems
• Summarize data and report on test results
• Examine needs on new equipment, calculate costs and help prepare budgets

Requirements

• Professional Engineer (PE) License
• Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification (preferred)
• Comfort with customer facing interactions and being the subject matter expert
• Expert at creating design documents including specifications, drawings and design narratives
• Proficient with AutoCAD, and drawing creation / sheet layout principles
• Knowledge of energy management programs, ex: ISO 50001, EnergyStar, BREEM and others
• Deep knowledge of industrial systems like compressors, chillers, boilers, etc.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills
• Industrial Refrigeration Knowledge a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
