We are looking for a qualified Electrical Maintenance Technician with a minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience, strong in Allen Bradley control systems, and 2 years minimum of industrial electrical wiring experience. This is a full-time direct hire position responsible for the upkeep and functionality of all electrical equipment and systems in our client’s 250,000 sq. ft. Manufacturing facility.
JOB DUTIES:
Utilization of Allen Bradley PLC to diagnose issues and improve production.
Troubleshoot AC/DC motors including drivers.
Proper troubleshooting and repair of all electrical equipment within the plant.
Troubleshoot and maintain gas fired burners.
Support in the installation of new equipment.
Perform general mechanical repairs as needed.
Work collectively with other teams on continuous improvement projects.
Properly log all electrical repair and maintenance work.
Perform basic maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Identify any quality related issues and properly report/provide solutions to necessary teams.
REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to read relay ladder logic programs on Allen Bradley PLC’s.
Must possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience in wiring/electrical machine repair in a manufacturing facility.
Must be familiar with proper NEC wiring standards.
Comfortable working at elevated positions when needed.
Ability to operate or be trained to use a forklift and scissor lift.
The role is supporting 2nd Shift operations, Monday-Thursday 2:30pm-1:00am.
