Job Description
The Electrical Machine Builder I - Custom works within the Electrical Build Group and is responsible for assembly and wiring of control cabinet panels, subassemblies, products, or systems of high-speed automation equipment; and to provide electrical support for debugging operations.

Responsibilities:
- Assemble custom machinery that includes panel building and installation of electrical components using electrical schematics, engineering drawings, job specifications and written and verbal instructions.
- Performs troubleshooting of electrical components, assemblies, wire harnesses, and plugs using a voltmeter to ensure they meet job specifications and Haumiller Standards.
- Mounts control components, such as control relays, circuit breakers, drives, power supplies on electrical back panels.
- Maintain a high level of craftsmanship.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
Education & Experience:
- 2-5+ years relevant experience (education/experience or both).
- Proficient in use of hand tools and electronic test equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Able to provide his/her own basic hand tools.
Physical Requirements:
- At times, must be able to remain in a stationary position 90% of the time.
- This position required to regularly move about the manufacturing floor.
- This position required to regularly kneel and work under machinery.
- Occasionally operates a computer and other office equipment.
- Requires frequent communication with teammates and staff.
- Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D solid models.
- Must be able to move parts, components, or assemblies weighing up to 75 lbs.
