What is ARCA?

ARCA provides a unique service to industrial parts suppliers by applying a circular economy approach to inventory management. We buy and sell industrial parts and equipment unlike any other business. We maintain warehouses with sophisticated product receiving and sorting systems that rapidly move parts out of storage and through diverse sales channels in a transparent and efficient manner. We employ a membership program that guarantees all assets are accounted for and do not compete with our clients existing customer demand.

We are not a classic recycling source, although we do work with all types of material and will provide a full solution to all challenges, including but not limited to appraisal, purchase, consignment, recycling, and logistics.

What is our Electrical Intake Technician position?
The Electrical Intake Technician’s role is to inspect the quality of the products being received into ARCA’s warehouse, then receive the product into the inventory library software. This occurs by entering data about the products received into the product catalog and optimizing data collected. This position lays the foundation for a successful career in operations, quality assurance, product marketing, and digital content optimization. There is a path for career growth within ARCA for the right candidate that is willing to learn and work towards that goal.

Here is what a typical day as an Intake Level 1 Technician looks like with key role
responsibilities:

● Working alongside a group of passionate and energetic teammates.
● Unloading project pallets from carriers’ trucks and staging in the designated areas
using forklifts and/or pallet jacks.
● Presorting project pallet contents and sending them to the designated receiving
stations using conveyors, pallets, and/or carts.
● Searching the internal database library for product information.

● Researching external databases and other resources when needed, inputting
technical product information when found to ensure accurate data is captured.

● Inspecting product quality at your workstation.

● Data entry of received product.

● Identifying damaged products and recognizing signs of use.

● Taking and uploading photographs of barcodes, packaging, and products.

● Working with the warehousing team to ensure accurate receiving of data.

analytics, electrical applications, technician, or other related fields including small

General Qualifications:

  • Previous technician-related experience, including inspection of circuit breakers and
  • other electrical components strongly preferred however will consider training the right individual with a strong work history and positive attitude.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to move/lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues.
  • Ability to perform basic math functions quickly and accurately.
  • Availability between 7am-5pm.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
