Job Purpose:
Shick Esteve is looking for an intern to work in our Electrical Fabrication department this summer! This is a hands-on opportunity to learn about electrical components, control panels, and other important aspects of the equipment we build for the food/process industry.
Essential Functions:
- Assist in building and testing control panels
- Assist in reading electrical drawings of panel design to generate lists of required labels
- Work with shop associates, creating wire and terminal labels
- Engrave placards for panel component identification
- Label and organize parts bins
- Help maintain Controls Inventory
- Participate in group training and discussions
- High School education with interests in electrical controls.
- 3.0 GPA or higher preferred .
- Computer proficient.
- Excel skills, working knowledge of Word and use of company email.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, as well as interact in a team atmosphere.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently (i.e., without time limitations, without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship) in the country where this position is located..
