Energize Your Career: Are you ready to be at the forefront of the clean energy revolution? MetOx International, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Equipment Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a vital role in reshaping the future of power generation and distribution

Based at our global headquarters in Houston, TX, the Electrical Equipment Engineer supports maintaining and optimizing our manufacturing processes by providing regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of our production equipment. The position reports to the Facilities Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

· Equipment Maintenance, Troubleshooting, & Support

o Collaborates with the maintenance team to develop preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal performance and longevity of manufacturing equipment.

o Partners with the manufacturing team to identify and troubleshoot issues with equipment promptly.

o Perform routine inspections of electrical systems, identifying potential issues and recommending corrective actions.

o Provide technical support for electrical installations, upgrades, and modifications.

o Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with overall manufacturing processes.

o Applies fundamental electrical skills to diagnose and resolve electrical issues in manufacturing equipment.

· Automation & PLC Programming

o Design, implement, and troubleshoot automation systems to improve manufacturing processes.

o Develop and modify PLC programs to meet production requirements and enhance automation capabilities.

· Training

o Provides technical support and training to operators and maintenance personnel.

o Partners with engineers, training specialist, and/or other stakeholders as appropriate to develop relevant training material.

· Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field or equivalent experience

· Minimum of one year of relevant experience in controls engineering within a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

· Prior experience in a startup or high growth organization

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

· Proficiency in basic electrical skills and troubleshooting.

· Experience with automation, PLC programming, and control systems.

· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

· Commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant industry regulations.

· Proactive and self-motivated with a strong attention to detail.
