About The Opportunity

We are seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to contribute to dynamic projects from prototype assembly to launch. Responsibilities include creating drawings/models, supporting projects, operating test equipment, conducting testing, and aiding in supply chain and production activities.

How will youhelp our impact?

• Primary duties will include assisting Electrical Team in assembling prototypes according to engineering data and knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles
• Create drawings/models of electrical and mechanical parts as needed for research and development projects
• Assist Electrical Team in projects from birth through launch as needed, providing engineering support in an organized and on-time fashion. Maintain detailed records of the project work.
• Assist Electrical Team in the set up and operating of test equipment to evaluate quality, performance and reliability, under simulated operating conditions.
• Perform testing on new designs as required.
• Working knowledge of BoM creation and maintenance preferred.
• Support Supply Chain group in specifying components, EoL issues, technical decisions.
• Support production activities as required (floor support, PCO activities, etc).

Who do youneed to be?

• Working knowledge in PLCs, frequency drives, imbedded software preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD Mechanical and Electrical, Inventor.
• Demonstrated ability to think in terms of “systems” and work creatively to improve them.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team and actively contribute to the success of the team.
• Knowledge of ANSI, EN17352 & UL is an advantage.
• Good communication, organization, and project documentation skills.

Experience Needed

• Associate degree/certificate in electrical technology or related study.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an engineering design and development discipline.
