Position Title: Electrical Engineering System Owner (Engineer III)
Location: Cincinnati, OH
The primary purpose of this role is to be the electrical System Owner for the Cincinnati Site. Daily, this position will help troubleshoot and resolve sitewide electrical issues that may arise, and work with capital engineers on new project electrical requirements. Other responsibilities include carrying out various maintenance and engineering tasks to improve the overall electrical system performance and design. As a System Owner, this person will be responsible for master plan development and execution.
- Improving the overall electrical system through design, maintenance, and document control.
- Help develop and implement the long-range electrical master plan.
- Evaluating the electrical systems for safety, reliability, and performance.
- Perform project management duties for all electrical projects and ensure that the project(s) are aligned on scope, schedule and budget.
- Support the site’s THP projects with programming assistance, and assist the team during design, qualification/validation and troubleshooting for issues.
- Design, control, and implement electrical systems and components.
- Help define user requirements for the electrical system related to expense and capital projects.
- Manage related engineering projects on time and on budget.
- Ensure that installations and applications are in line with customer needs and meet applicable safety standards (OSHA, NEC and NFPA).
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and apply new system processes.
- Manage the preventative maintenance and testing on existing medium and low voltage electrical systems.
- Summarize data and report on results.
- Examine needs on new equipment, calculate costs and help prepare budgets.
- Supervise maintenance and inspection plans.
- Assist and provide oversight to contractors as necessary.
- Adhere to all department and company policies and procedures.
- Report all incidents and hazards to supervision.
- Conforms to safe working and good housekeeping practices.

- Train others in safety related to site electrical systems.
- Lead and support client and regulatory audits of the electrical system.
Requirements
- B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering
- Practical experience in medium voltage design
- Experience using design and/or calculation software
- Practical knowledge in maintenance of medium and low voltage electrical systems
- Project management skills a plus, but not a requirement
- Good understanding of Electrical Engineering standards (OSHA, NEC and NFPA) and arc flash safety
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, equipment specifications, and submittals
- Experience with GMP and or ISO regulations
- Ability to use MS Office
- Proficiency with English Language
