We are seeking a highly motivated student that is excited to have the chance to be mentored by our elite team of Engineers for our Summer 2024 Electrical Engineering (Power) Internship.
The primary purpose of this position is to introduce the student intern to electrical utility engineering work prior to the student's final year of studies. Under the direction of Professional Engineers, the student will perform special projects involving power system analysis, equipment and technical research, data analytics and applied technology. The selected intern will be a resource to a team of electrical engineers needing project and planning study support for high priority efforts needed to meet Benton PUD's near and long-term objectives.
This is a full time, non-exempt, temporary position with an expected duration of 10 to 12 weeks over the Summer. Salary will depend on qualifications including any relevant past job experience and/or coursework completed. There are limited benefits available with this position. Time off will be allowed with approval for various summer activities.
