We specialize in designing and developing innovative solid-state LED solutions for the automotive aftermarket/off-road industry. Position Objectives:
- Study, build upon, and further develop existing quality assurance standards.
- Maintain complaint and nonconformance processing through records and tracking systems, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits.
- Improve standards for the product team and add new testing protocols as needed.
- Apply PPAP procedures and documentation for new products.
- Track levels of product returns to identify possible issues.
- Communicate with suppliers and vendors when corrective action is needed.
- Pursue continuing education in new solutions, technologies, and skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product specialist to improve existing systems and processes.
- Review, test, and approve electrical components of new products.
- Provide feedback on existing manufacturing processes and standards.
- Review, analyze, and provide feedback on technical drawings.
- Inspecting electrical components during and after the product installation.
- Work with quality control and product specialist to improve existing products.
- Perform quality and performance review and testing on new and existing products.
- Perform customer-facing tasks such as troubleshooting and phone support.
- Provide feedback and training to customer service agents to improve customer support.
- Support customer service team with analysis and technical information as needed.
- Make presentations to customer support team on technical aspects of new products.
Skills and qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer.
- Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and manufacturing processes.
- Problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- A degree in Electrical Engineering.
Compensation and Benefits:
Base salary: $50,000 per year (commensurate with experience).
