Responsibilities:
Maintenance Mechanic – Site Based – Cleveland, Mississippi, USA
A role where you will be ensuring safe and efficient operations of plant manufacturing equipment through hands on maintenance and maintenance related initiatives.
What you'll be doing:
- Must read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Must perform electrical repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment
- Must build, install and troubleshoot control circuits for equipment.
- Must install electrical facilities for new equipment and relocate equipment when necessary.
- Must perform welding assignments as required.
- Must perform all documentation as required.
- Be knowledgeable and able to troubleshoot microprocessor, HVAC and industrial maintenance.
What you'll bring
- High School Diploma/GED required. Technical Degree/Certification preferred.
- 2 or more years' experience required
- One year or more years of general maintenance experience
- AB troubleshooting experience preferred.
- Ability to use electrical test equipment; e.g., volt-ohm meter, ammeter, megohmmeter, wiggly.
- Ability to troubleshoot and install DC equipment/controllers, generators, solenoids, relays, motors, power supplies.
- Ability to perform industrial maintenance.
- Basic electrical skills.

Requirements:
- Strong technical skills and knowledge in areas such as electrical systems, mechanical systems, and industrial machinery.
- Experience with stick welding and high voltage equipment is preferred.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Solid problem-solving skills to identify and resolve maintenance issues effectively.
- Previous experience as an industrial electrician or industrial mechanic is highly desirable.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and customers.
