Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as aElectrical Engineer.
Testing is looking for a part time Electrical Test Engineer ready to join our team. This position is responsible for testing our hardware and software products, diagnosing issues, collaborating with others to find solutions, and documenting the results of tests. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills are required for the creation and execution of test plans. Electrical Test Technicians will work on a team of testers and work with product owners, managers, and developers to ensure high quality products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Test basic features of new hardware and software releases using predefined test runs.
• Verify agency and regulatory compliance testing.
• Collaborate on developing and executing test cases.
• Documenting test results and following through to a resolution.
• Working with developers to resolve and debug issues.
• Works on regression, black box, smoke, and interface testing.
• Identify, isolate, and communicate bugs effectively and efficiently.
• Reports to a team lead.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Desired Qualifications, Education, and/or Experience

• Fluent in basics of computers, google docs, spreadsheets, email, browser.
• Experience with test case and bug tracking systems such as JIRA and Testrail.
• Perform validation tests from written and/or verbal instructions.
• Communication skills to assist in creating and executing test cases, and logging bugs into tracking systems.
• Able to work well independently and in teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• 0-1 year of testing experience required.
• Requires high school diploma.
