Job Summary: The Electrical Engineer II/III will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of electrical systems and components. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing technical expertise, and ensuring the successful execution of projects. Depending on experience, the candidate will be hired as an Electrical Engineer II or III.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development - Design, develop, and evaluate electrical systems, components, and equipment for various projects. Create details schematics, wiring diagrams and layouts.
Technical Analysis - Conduct in-depth technical analysis, simulations, and testing to identify and resolve Electrical Engineering issues. Make recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
Project Management - Manage and lead Electrical Engineering projects from conception to completion. Ensure that projects meet budget, timeline, and quality objectives.
Collaboration - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of electrical components with overall project goals.
Quality Control - Establish and implement quality control procedures and standards to ensure the reliability and safety of electrical systems and components.
Compliance - Stay up-to-date with relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations. Ensure that designs and products are compliant with all applicable requirements.
Documentation - Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications, reports, and manuals.
Testing and Troubleshooting - Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems and components to identify and rectify any issues or malfunctions.
Cost Estimation - Assist in cost estimation and budget management for Electrical Engineering projects.
Continuous Improvement - Actively seek opportunities for process improvement, innovation, and technology adoption to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Electrical Engineering projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering.
- Proficiency in electrical design software (AutoCAD, EAGLE, etc.).
- Proven track record of project leadership.
- Experience with project management and team leadership.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and codes.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred)
