RELIABLE ELECTRIC LLC, a leading player in the construction industry, is seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to join our dynamic team. As an Electrical Designer, you will be responsible for designing and creating electrical plans and layouts for projects across various sectors, including residential, commercial, and industrial. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the reliability and functionality of electrical systems, as well as meeting client specifications and industry regulations. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project managers and architects to develop electrical designs that meet project requirements and client expectations
- Create detailed electrical plans and layouts using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Perform electrical calculations to determine circuit load, voltage drop, and other important parameters
- Conduct site surveys to evaluate existing electrical systems and identify any necessary upgrades or modifications
- Select appropriate electrical components, such as switches, outlets, and fixtures, based on project specifications
- Review and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints to ensure accuracy and compliance with codes and standards
- Coordinate with other design disciplines, such as mechanical and structural, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience as an Electrical Designer in the construction industry
- Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards, including NEC and IEC
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
