Job Description
Salary $80,000-$100,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
Responsible for all aspects of electrical panel design, electrical schematics, electrical parts selection per project and customer specification, electrical and Controls Engineering technical and field support, factory acceptance tests, interaction with vendors, creation of system documentation including electrical engineering design submittals and control narratives, PID loops, HMI, and PLC programming, I/O wiring diagrams, one-line diagrams, process flow diagrams, bill of materials, and operation and maintenance manuals. Responsible for troubleshooting and debugging of PLC and HMI programs.
Travel 20%.
The position will directly and at once affect the company's success, and the engineer will be expected to handle multiple projects with minimal supervision in an organized and time efficient manner.
Requirements for Electrical Engineer/Controls Engineer:
BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of prior relevant work experience in Electrical Design required.
PLC and HMI programming experience on Allen-Bradley PLC (RS Logix, etc.)
AutoCAD Electrical experience necessary
Must be able to read and interpret electrical engineering drawings.
Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, Word and PowerPoint) experience required.
