MDA Precision LLC is a family-owned CNC machine builder located in Morgan Hill and we are seeking an organized, enthusiastic individual to join our team. We have a growing, dynamic business with a hard-working, energetic team that designs and builds manufacturing automation solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble Electrical Cables and wiring harnesses according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Utilize soldering techniques to create secure and reliable connections for various cable components.
- Perform crimping operations with precision to ensure proper termination of connectors and contacts.
- Select appropriate electrical components and parts based on project requirements, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
- Execute cabinet wiring tasks, including routing and organizing cables within control panels or enclosures.
- Follow established quality standards and testing procedures to ensure the integrity and reliability of assembled Electrical Cables.
- Perform related mechanical assembly.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to interpret technical drawings and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace, adhering to safety guidelines and regulations.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical assemblies, identifying and addressing issues promptly.
- Document assembly processes and maintain accurate records of completed work.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Cable Assembler, demonstrating proficiency in soldering and crimping techniques.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical components, wiring, and assembly processes.
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
- Skill in selecting appropriate parts and components for specific applications.
- Experience in cabinet wiring and organization of cables within control panels.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues effectively.
- Adherence to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and engineers.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and assembly techniques.
Education and Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in soldering and cable assembly is a plus.
- Relevant vocational training or apprenticeship in electrical assembly.
